2033 The Nuclear Mission to Mars

In 694 pages and 14 chapters this highly detailed text will carry you to Mars. The included references support the book detailing the Human Factors, Core Design and Radiological concerns for interplanetary flight. In addition the mission is fully described and readers can fly to Mars themselves with the provided space flight simulator. This book is Kindle and Nook reader friendly as well. Not just another space book but the solid technical foundation for the future of manned spaceflight. Gain the nuclear insight from the author with his 30 years in nuclear power as a reactor operator and Engineer. An outstanding resource book for students and Engineers. See where NERVA started and where today it can go. All at ba price of $ 30.

Rocket Science

Lots of books claim to be "rocket science" but this is the real deal. This massive work is the outgrowth of two of David Ketchledge's earlier works, an article on "Vertical Trajectory Systems" in the Tripoli journal, High Power Rocketry, and David's earlier book, The Next Shuttle. In its 920 pages, Dave covers vehicle basics (nozzle thermodynamics, aerodynamics, structural strength), performance basics (flight mechanics, orbital mechanics, aero-thermodynamics) and applications with an eye to the hobby (HP rocket design, guidance systems, payloads and telemetry, radio control). We then devotes two chapters to current "cutting edge" vehicle development programs, and the latest research into Reusable Launch Vehicles (RLV). And if that's not enough, there are over 1,000 pages of source reference documents included! To try your hand at piloting, a full featured flight simulator is included that will let you fly a variety of air and spacecraft on the Earth and around the Solar System. This work is destined to become the standard reference for professionals and hobbyists alike. *

The Next Shuttle

It spans the full scope of Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Propulsion and Thermal Protection. The first 3 chapters are a full treatment aerospace history from the X-1 to the Space Shuttle. For the hobbyist there are some 140 pages of information, tables and charts for a host of designs. And scale drawings of many X planes. The Next Shuttle takes you into the future of returning to the Moon and on to Mars, and a host of Space Shuttle follow on designs. And you get a depth of information from some 117 sources from leading aerospace publications. The 439 page book is all packed into a singe CD at a price of only $25.00. It represents a 3 year effort to answer the question what is "The Next Shuttle". And it inspires you to apply low cost practical methods to design models that will turn heads on any launch field.

We now offer Flight Dynamics 4, a complete trajectory simulation program for both unguided and VTS (vertical trajectory systems). The built in chart recorder captures over 29 variables during launch and flight. The program has a 17 motor database in MS Excel to select from or you can customize, The flight manual that comes with the software is more than a review of the Barrowman equations, its a fully documented course in flight mechanics and the methods of performing vertical trajectory control.  Compared to the 1993 High Power Rocketry Magazine version, FD4 has many advanced features. The simulator is able to handle both the subsonic and supersonic flight regions Sensors can be any of the following, sun seekers, rate gyro's and free gyro's. Control is by any of the following methods: guidance fins, motor gimbal or cold gas thrusters.  We also have included other sources on the CD to round out your capabilities. Our beta testers were impressed with the CD and its priced at only $35 a copy so anyone can afford it.  Understanding the dynamics of flight is a critical area that this CD and program will put your designs on the cutting edge.  Ordering is easy via PayPal on the Order page above  Please note you need MS Windows XP for this application.

We hope you enjoy the website and you can then order either of the CD's. Feel free to write us for information. We can assist your projects as well. We are here to provide the Engineering sources you want to use.
